We service a diverse range of clients from technology start-ups to billion dollar Government Owned Corporations in the commercial aspects of research, development, management and technology transfer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An exciting opportunity exists to utilise your writing, editing and proofreading skills on a full range of technical documents.\u00a0Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interview production and engineering personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Read journals and other material to become familiar with product technologies and production methods.<\/li>\n<li>Observe production, developmental, and experimental activities to determine operating\u00a0 procedure and detail.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in laying out material for publication.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze developments in specific field to determine need for revisions in previously published materials and development of new material.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize an established outline and source material to finalize documents and make the report flow correctly with the raw data and results from engineers.<\/li>\n<li>You will also be expected to take a raw copy of a document, format, and organize the document.\u00a0 Reports can include global practice newsletters, client reports, technical\/white papers, speeches, presentations\u00a0and business documents.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate edited changes to engineers and managers.<\/li>\n<li>Work with many similar writers and the chief editor in a team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trafalgar Square office, London<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Degree or diploma in Business Writing, Journalism or Science.<\/li>\n<li>1+ years experience\u00a0working\u00a0with technical documents is desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A self-starter with an inquisitive mind who demonstrates a committed and flexible approach complemented by exceptional relationship management skills will excel in this role.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our Firm Swanson Reed one of the world&#8217;s\u00a0leading specialist R&amp;D tax and innovation advisory firms.
